Chelsea are looking into a deal for unsettled Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian. The full-back joined the Red Devils from Torino last summer.
The 26-year-old started off his debut season in fine fashion as he displaced long-serving player Antonio Valencia for the right-back position.
However, his struggles were evident as a few months went by, and he soon found himself plying his trade at left-back before being dumped to the bench for one of Marcos Rojo or Cameron Borthwick-Jackson.
Bleacher Report says Blues boss Antonio Conte is eager to have the player in the ranks given his impressive showing at wing-back under his Italian management.
The £10m-rated full-back is currently part of Conte's Azzurri squad featuring at the European championships.
