Tottenham Hotspur will look to wrap up a deal for Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama in the coming days. The Kenyan international came close to sealing a move to White Hart Lane last summer before the Saints pulled the plug on the proposed transfer.
The 24-year-old followed to have fairly good season in the top flight with discipline being the only concern after he received three red cards through the campaign.
According to The Sun, the Saints have decided to offload their midfielder this time around given he is approaching the final year of his contract.
It is added that Spurs are heading the queue for the player's signature, and a £11m move is likely to be finalized this week.
Wanyama made 30 appearances in all competitions for Southampton last term.
