Everton have been linked with a shock swoop for Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder. The Toffees are expected to bring in a couple of high-profile signings to Goodison Park this summer.
Reports in Turkey suggest that the Toffees are lining up a bid for Sneijder as they seek to add an experienced head to their midfield ahead of next season.
Sneijder is a player that has long been on the radar of top English clubs, and at the age of 32, he may have a few years left in him to showcase his skills.
The Netherlands international was part of Ronald Koeman's Ajax side that won the Eredivisie title in 2004.
Galatasaray currently rate their player at around £5m.Â
