Sporting Lisbon midfielder Joao Mario has reportedly snubbed Chelsea for a move to Inter Milan this summer. The Portugal international was in top form for his club last term as they finished runners-up to Benfica for the Primeira Liga title.
The 23-year-old had been recently linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge with the Blues willing to pay up a fee of around £33m for his signature.
But, according to The Sun, the player has shifted interest towards Inter Milan, given his chances of earning more playing time under Roberto Mancini.
Mario has racked 14 goals in 75 appearances for Sporting since his first-team debut in 2011. He was also part of Fernando Santos' squad which went on to beat hosts France in the finals and lift the Euro 2016 crown.
