  • Roberto Di Matteo is looking to reduce on the club's wage structure this summer, and this could see several of the first-team players make their way out of Villa Park.

According to The Sun, the Baggies have made an official attempt to sign Clark, who has risen through the ranks at the Midlands outfit.

The transfer fee currently matches the player's £4.5m valuation, and it could be a matter of time before the proposed agreement goes through,

Clark has appeared in 159 games for his side since his first-team debut in 2009.
