Spurs Hutton move back on

Spurs' Hutton move back on

22 January 2008 - 23:43

Tottenham are set to swoop again for Alan Hutton from Rangers after the Scottish defender admitted he may make the move to Tottenham should they renew their offer for his services.

  • Chelsea suffer double injury blow ahead of Villa trip
  • Gabriel Magalhaes to sign new Arsenal deal

  • Hutton turned down the first Spurs bid recently because he was waiting to check on his options - and was also disappointed with the wages.

arrival of Hutton would therefore cast serious doubts over the future of Pascal Chimbonda, who has been a top target of Chelsea's in the past 12 months and Aston Villa are also tracking the right back.

The Gers would be happy to do a deal but so far it has been the player who has dug his heals in and refused to move to White Hart Lane.
