West Bromwich Albion midfielder Claudio Yacob has penned a fresh contract to keep him at the Hawthorns until the summer of 2018. The Argentine has insisted that it wasn't a tough decision to extend his stay with the Premier League outfit
The 29-year-old joined the West Midlands side from Racing Club in 2012, and has since established himself as a regular in the first-team.
"It wasn't a difficult decision because everyone working at the club, the fans and the players have all made me feel very comfortable since I've been here. Hopefully I can continue to play in the team. I'm happy," he told the club's official website.
Yacob's previous contract was due to expire at the end of the season, and the Baggies made sure they rewarded him with a two-year extension on an improved wage package.
The midfielder has scored a solitary goal in 129 outings for West Bromwich Albion in all competitions.
