Bayern Munich boss Ottmar Hitzfeld could take over from Kobi Kuhn as the Swiss national team coach after he quits his domestic job this summer. Switzerland boss Kuhn could be set to move into club management.

  • “To represent a country, to train a team for a specific point, and to qualify for the 2010 World Cup- that would be a great change for me as a trainer” Hitzfeld admitted in an interview with the ‘Süddeutschen Zeitung’.



    “I’d need an assistant trainer, who was able to speak French, because half of the players come from the west of Switzerland” the Bayern trainer explained.
