Arsenal have enquired over the possibility of signing Nice midfielder Vincent Koziello having watched him on several occasions over the past year.
The 20-year-old has been key to his side's fine start to the Ligue 1 campaign, and this has also caught eye of Italian champions Juventus.
According to Sportmediaset, the Gunners have opened talks over a possible deal for Koziello with manager Arsene Wenger looking to recruit the youngster in the New Year.
Koziello, who has been by France at the Under-21 level, is said to have excellent composure on the field which has led to comparisons with former Barcelona great Xavi.
The youngster has made nearly 50 appearances for the Ligue 1 leaders, and many in the French media believe he would be the perfect fit for Arsenal in the future.
