Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is likely to stick with his current crop of players until the end of the season. The Spaniard has no intention to step into the market in the winter transfer window.
Recent speculation suggested the Citizens could move for a new right-back in January with Pep not satisfied with his current options in Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna.
However, according to The Mirror, the Catalan tactician will pause his transfer activity until next summer with Gabriel Jesus being the sole player to join his side in the New Year.
The Citizens agreed an initial £27m fee with Palmeiras for the forward, and a deal will go through at the turn of the year.
Pep is said to have Borussia Dortmund's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Arsenal's Hector Bellerin as his prime targets, and he will seek to lure them to the Etihad come the end of the season.
Manchester City are currently top of the league standings via goal difference.
