Young defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah has inked a fresh deal which will keep him at Manchester United until the summer of 2020.
The teenager, who joined the Red Devils' academy in 2014, made his debut in a 3-2 win over Arsenal at Old Trafford last season.
The 18-year-old has not seen much gametime during the ongoing campaign but Jose Mourinho expects him to earn his chances as the season goes on.
"Tim is young player with great potential. It is clear to see that he is learning every day in training and there will be plenty of opportunities for him as the season continues," Mourinho told the club's official website.
Fosu-Mensah is capable of featuring across the defence, but he is for now a reliable back-up to Antonio Valencia at right-back.
The Netherlands Under-21 international has earned 12 first-team appearances with Manchester United till date.
