German international Mesut Ozil is currently stalling on talks over a fresh contract amid concerns over the future of manager Arsene Wenger.
The French head coach is in the final year of his contract at the Emirates, and talks over an extension are yet to commence.
According to Metro, the World Cup winner is in no rush to sign a fresh contract until the Gunners sort out the position of Wenger.
Wenger was in-charge of recruiting Ozil from Real Madrid in 2013, and the German has had a great attachment to his coach ever since.
Ozil has been in top form for the Gunners this term and they would be hoping to keep hold of his services following his first-ever hattrick capped in a 10/10 performance against Ludogorets in midweek.
The midfielder has netted six goals and an assist for Arsenal this season.
