Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi has reportedly turned down advances to join Juventus at the end of the campaign. The Italy international has appeared over 500 times for the Giallorossi in all competitions.

  • The 33-year-old is expected to end his 16-year association with Roma when his contract expires in the summer of 2017.

According to Calciomercato, De Rossi was offered a two-year deal with Juventus, but he snubbed their approach in order to show loyalty to his current employers.

And this states that a move to the MLS could be the ideal option with the player having no interests of plying his trade in the Chinese Super League.

De Rossi has turned out 10 times for the Capital outfit this season. He has also earned a century of caps for Italy with his debut coming against Norway back in 2004.
