Chelsea boss Avram Grant was left pleased with the way Chelsea knocked Wigan out of the FA Cup and saw the Blues into the fifth round of the tournament. Nicolas Anelka and Shaun Wright-Phillips got the goals to wrap up victory.

  • "We did a very good job," Avram Grant told the BBC after the game. "It was not easy to play on that pitch but we did try to play good football.

"We scored two nice goals, we controlled the game and the defenders did a really good job. When we were 2-0 up we almost let it slip as they scored, but I think we deserved the win."
