Everton are the latest club to be linked with a winter move for Memphis Depay. The Netherlands international has fallen out-of-favour under Jose Mourinho this season.

  • Chelsea eyeing new manager to replace Pochettino
  • Arsenal identify their top three striker targets

  • Depay, 22, had a quiet debut campaign at Old Trafford last term where he netted seven goals in all competitions under Louis van Gaal.

According to The Liverpool Echo, the Toffees are prepared to offer a new challenge to the Dutchman, who has earned just 20 minutes of league football this season.

Manager Ronald Koeman has kept a close watch on Depay since his Eredivisie days, and is now willing to offer his Holland compatriot a fresh chance in the top flight.

Depay has not quiet lived to his expectations since his arrival from PSV Eindhoven last year, but Mourinho is confident that the player will have a role to play at Manchester United in the future.
