Isco wants Real stay

Isco focused on earning fresh contract at Real

23 November 2016 - 12:09

Spain international Isco has insisted that he is looking to extend his stay at Real Madrid beyond the expiry of his contract in 2018. The former Malaga man has been linked with a move to the Premier League amid speculation that he is unsettled at the Bernabeu.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • Isco, 24, has captured interest from the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United in recent weeks after reports emerged that he could leave Los Blancos in the New Year.

When questioned over his future, the midfielder revealed his intent to remain with the Spanish giants, and was hopeful that an improved deal could be sorted out in the coming months.

"I still have this year and next [on my contract], both the club and myself are looking forward and we hope to sort it out." he told reporters.

Isco has recently earned a regular run under Zinedine Zidane following a spell where he was excluded from the first-team plans.
