Stoke City attacker Xherdan Shaqiri has admitted that he still has ambitions of playing Champions League football ar a top European club.
The 25-year-old has been making the news in recent weeks after it was known that he could end his association with the Potters in the near future.
Shaqiri has now hinted that he will not be Stoke player for long despite being happy with his progress during the ongoing campaign.
"At 25, it would be silly to say that I want to end my career at Stoke," he told The Mirror. "At the moment I feel very comfortable. I have scored three goals as many as in the whole of last season."
The Swiss international added that he still has the desire to play with Europe's elite, and this could eventually urge him to a fresh challenge.
Shaqiri will have a huge role to play on Saturday afternoon if his side are to end their hoodoo against Arsenal at the Emirates.
