Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has denied rumours that coach Javier Aguirre could be set to leave the club after some erratic performances and the interest of an unknown Italian club.
Enrique Cerezo said, "[The coach] wants to move forward and win - there's no indication of anything else.
"I'll put my hand in the fire and say that he'll be on the bench not just on Wednesday, but much longer.
"Aguirre is here, and there is no problem. He remains the Atletico coach."
