Bolton: no Gudjohnsen

Bolton: no Gudjohnsen

30 January 2008 - 17:45

Bolton boss Gary Megson has conceded defeat in his chase to land Icelandic international striker Eidur Gudjohnsen. Several were hoping Gudjohnsen would be willing to return to his old club.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd can finally sign Ederson for huge bargain fee
  • "We need a quality replacement for Nicolas Anelka and Eidur would have fitted the bill but unfortunately he's at a huge football club and he wants to stay there," said Megson.

"Maybe in the summer he would deem it the right time to join Bolton.

"I'll be disappointed if we don't bring in a forward but I won't be worried."
