Ivory Coast midfielder Cheick Tiote has reportedly finalized a move to Chinese second division club Beijing Enterprises Group.
The 30-year-old has ended his six-and-a-half association with Newcastle United after he failed to establish himself as a regular under Rafa Benitez this season.
Tiote had managed only three appearances during the first half of the campaign with a solitary outing in the Championship.
According to ITV Sport, the midfielder was initially on the radar of Shandong Luneng before he decided to join the Beijing outfit, who play in the Chinese League One - the second tier of Chinese football.
Tiote amassed a total of 129 appearances for Newcastle United between 2010 and 2016 with his sole goal coming via a stunning volley in the 4-4 comeback draw versus Arsenal in his debut campaign.
