Frank De Boer linked with vacant Rangers job

12 February 2017 - 07:07

Dutch coach Frank De Boer has been linked with the vacant post at Glasgow Rangers. Last week, Mark Warburton was sensationally ousted from the post as manager of the club.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • Frank De Boer has been out of work since leaving Ajax Amsterdam, but prior to last season he had enjoyed plenty of domestic success as manager of the club.

Frank is known to be eager to return to management soon but is currently on a long vacation to decide where his future lies.

Rangers are the latest team to have been linked with De Boer and club representatives are reportedly set to make contact with the former Dutch international at the beginning of this week.

De Boer has also been linked with moves to the United States and the Middle East, but is known to favour a stay in Europe for the time being.

Celtic currently sit first place in the Scottish Premier League whilst Rangers lie 3rd behind rivals Aberdeen.
