Wenger still undecided over Gunners future

Arsene Wenger denies exit claims

Arsene Wenger insists that he did not give any hint over his retirement plans to former Arsenal great Ian Wright.

  • Chelsea & Arsenal handed blow in Bundesliga striker pursuit

  • The former England international-turned-pundit recently claimed that Wenger could hang up his boots at the end of the current campaign.

Wenger has been the subject of immense criticism from some of the club's faithful following a dismal run of results earlier in the month which put an end to their minor title hopes.

Following Arsenal's hard-fought win over Hull City, the Frenchman admitted that he has not yet decided on his future, and Wright may have misinterpreted his statement where he said his spell could be 'coming to an end'.

The Gunners still have hopes of salvaging their season with an exciting Champions League tie against Bayern Munich in midweek whilst they face fifth-tier Sutton United in the FA Cup fifth round a few days later.
