German international Toni Kroos could be tempted to join Manchester United in the summer, should Real Madrid fail to deliver a trophy during the ongoing campaign.
The Bernabeu outfit have literally brought Barcelona back in the title race following a surprise 2-1 defeat at Valencia last month combined with a frustrating 3-3 draw against Las Palmas.
Kroos has been continuously linked with the Red Devils since David Moyes' reign back in the 2013-14 season, and according to The Sun, there is a possibility of him switching clubs in the summer.
The World Cup winner has won the Champions League in two of the past three seasons with Los Blancos, but the lack of silverware during the ongoing campaign could urge him to part ways with the Spanish giants.
No club has managed to retain the European crown since the invention of the group format, and this could make things tougher for Real Madrid, who are also on a five-year wait for the league title.
