Atalanta BC are prepared to sell midfielder Franck Kessie this summer, provided any club can match his £34m asking price. The Ivorian footballer is a transfer target for both Manchester United and Chelsea.
Kessie, 20, has emerged as one of the best rising talents in the Serie A, and his presence has been crucial to Atalanta's excellent campaign to date - fifth in the league.
According to The Star, the player's representatives have reached a verbal agreement with AS Roma over the proposed transfer, but there is still hope of one of Chelsea or Manchester United coming in for his services.
The Blues were deemed to have failed with a £27m bid for the midfielder over the winter period, while United have recently joined the pursuit following the youngster's desire to play at the Theatre of Dreams.
Kessie, who joined the Serie A club from Ivorian side Stella Club in 2015, has previously been linked with other clubs including Juventus, Everton and Inter Milan.
