LA Galaxy are showing interest in Ibrahimovic

LA Galaxy to make Ibrahimovic a big offer

08 March 2017 - 21:39

With his contract at Manchester United set to expire at the end of the season, there has been an air of mystery as to where Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be playing next season. The Manchester club are very keen to keep hold of their Swede talisman, but MLS side LA Galaxy are now also reported to be prepared to offer him a big money move.

  • Scoring twenty six goals so far in his debut season, Ibrahimovic has been a sensation at Old Trafford. With his natural ability and self confidence, the fans love their new number nine, but fear that he will not extend his stay in the Premier League.

Orlando City's Kaka is currently the MLS's highest paid player, earning roughly £5.89 million a year, and LA Galaxy are said to be willing to pay Ibrahimovic even more than that.

Sources close to the BBC report that LA Galaxy believe that Ibrahimovic can have a bigger impact on the MLS than David Beckham, meaning that they would see the big money move as a sound investment to promote the game further in the States.
