Premier League duo Manchester United and Arsenal had both sent scouts to watch midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko in action during Monaco's 3-1 triumph over Manchester City in the Champions League, last 16.

  • The Principality outfit won the two-legged tie on away goals with Bakayoko's late header proving instrumental to the aggregate 6-6 result.

Bakayoko has been associated with a whole host of European clubs since his rise earlier in the campaign, and according to Foot365, United, Arsenal and Juventus all kept a keen eye on his proceedings against the Citizens.

The France under-21 international, who failed to make the cut to the senior squad, had impressed for the Ligue 1 leaders on the night, and this has urged the trio to consider moves for his services.

Leonardo Jardim's side are currently in the best shape after their change in their transfer policy, and they will be desperate to keep hold of their best talents beyond the summer.

Bakayoko is unlikely to come on the cheap with Monaco due to demand at least £50m if they are to consider letting go of the player.
