Alexis Sanchez to push for Chelsea move?

Chile international Alexis Sanchez has reportedly signalled his agent to look into a potential move to Chelsea during the summer transfer window.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The 28-year-old has been in sublime form for the Gunners this season, and his tally of 18 goals and nine assists have single-handedly kept his side in the hunt for a top-four finish.

In a recent interview in his native Chile, Sanchez admitted that he would like to feature for a London club with a 'winning mentality', and this has since increased speculation over his next move.

According to The Sun, the attacker could have his sights set on a Stamford Bridge move with the Gunners facing a tough task of guaranteeing him Champions League football next season.

Sanchez has just 15 months left on his present contract, and it is understood that the Gunners could be tempted to sell, should he decline a fresh extension in the summer.

The former Barcelona man is understood to be a &pound34m target for Spanish side Atletico Madrid, but Chelsea could yet win the race with a potential &pound50m offer on the cards.
