Robert Snodgrass joined West Ham United in the January transfer window after impressing for struggling Hull City. However, he could now be set to leave, with newly promoted Brighton and Hove Albion showing interest.
Since joining the Hammers, Snodgrass has found it difficult to settle. Still awaiting his first goal for the club and making just nine starts, fans have been critical of the 29-year-old Scotland international.
The Sun reports that Snodgrass has become frustrated with his time at the East London club and may look for a fresh start elsewhere. Brighton are preparing for their first ever Premier League season and will certainly need some top flight experience if they are to hit the ground running.
Despite signing for a £10 million fee, the report suggests that The Seagulls would only be willing to pay £8 million, with West Ham accepting that they will lose money just six months after signing the midfielder.
If Scotland can qualify for next year's World Cup in Russia, Snodgrass will certainly want to be on the plane. To do so, the former Norwich City winger will need to find regular game time and then produce some form, something that he may have to do away from the London Stadium.
