Colombian international David Ospina has emerged as a transfer option for MLS club LA Galaxy during this summer's transfer window.

  • Arsenal preparing third bid for Spanish star
  • Chelsea ready to sell Christopher Nkunku to Man Utd for £35m?

  • The Western Conference club are eyeing two big name signings which will not be included in their salary cap for the ongoing campaign.

According to The Star, recently released Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the top striker on their shortlist but they will have to wait until January for him to recover from his knee injury.

The big Swede bagged 28 goals during a successful stint with Manchester United which was cut short due to a double knee damage in April.

Meanwhile, Ospina is the other player on their radar as they seek to offer him regular playing time prior to key World Cup qualifiers later in the year.

The Arsenal goalkeeper is also a transfer target for Turkish giants Fenerbahce, and he has recently suggested that he could be loaned out to a club of his choice.

“I am waiting for Arsenal to decide, I’m on holiday and it should all be sorted by the the time it is over. If Arsenal are not going to give me the playing time I want they can loan me to another club.” He told Turkish outlet Sporx.

LA Galaxy have lost some of their glamour since David Beckham departed in 2012, and the signings of Ibrahimovic and Ospina could be ideal to bringing more attention towards the club.
