Former Stoke City midfielder Steven N'Zonzi is reportedly on the cusp of sealing a £35m move to Juventus from Spanish club Sevilla.

  • The 28-year-old has been particularly impressive during his two-year stint with Sevilla, and this has attracted interest from elite European clubs including Chelsea.

According to The Sun, the uncapped footballer has agreed personal terms with the Old Lady ahead of his £35m switch to Turin in the summer transfer window.

The French-born footballer was initially tipped for a return to the English top flight but he appeared to signal his agent to push through a move to Juventus.

N'Zonzi has made significant progress during his short spell with Sevilla, and the club stand to make a huge profit on a player, who they bought for just £7m from Stoke in 2015.

Juventus are likely to pay the player's package installments as they look to integrate N'Zonzi into the club's midfield which has lacked a physical presence since the departure of Paul Pogba.
