Man Utd make second Ivan Perisic bid

Manchester United have reportedly had a second bid of around £39m rejected for Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic. The Nerazzurri are holding out on their £44m valuation for the attacker.

  • Perisic, 28, has seemingly made his mind up for a fresh challenge after he outperformed for the Serie A club, who finished a lowly seventh in the league standings.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Red Devils made an improved offer for Perisic after their initial £36m attempt was knocked back by the San Siro outfit.

Inter are for now sticking with their £44m asking price as they are well aware of further interest from rivals Chelsea, who could still hijack the move.

In spite of this, the fallen Italian giants will have to find a quick solution before the end of the month as they seek to meet the Financial Fair Play requirements for the 2016/17 season.

Perisic bagged 10 goals and 10 assists across all competitions for Inter Milan during the recently concluded season.
