Milan won't sign Frey

09 February 2008 - 11:38

Milan chief Adriano Galliani has rejected rumours that the club may try to tempt Sebastien Frey to the capital in the summer, signing the Frenchman from Serie A rivals Fiorentina.

  • Chelsea star to miss FA Cup final with hamstring injury
  • Joao Pedro makes Chelsea transfer decision
  • Galliani made the move of putting his confidence in Dida despite several error prone matches of late.

“Frey is one of the strongest goalkeepers in the world but we will continue with Dida and Kalac,” said Galliani.

“I called Dida up this morning and reassured him about his position with the club. I told him that we think he is one of the best in the world as well as one of the best goalkeepers in Milan’s history.”
