Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has joined Cardiff City on a one season deal. The former Chelsea and Atletico Madrid player has been out of contract since being released by Charlton last season.
The experienced Dutchman will be an important part of Cardiff City's promotion push for next season and David Jones can now add Hasselbaink to his pack of strikers which already includes Robbie Fowler and Steve MacLean.
