Koumas battles for place

Despite being the subject of a transfer window offer from Scottish giants Celtic, Wigan midfielder Jason Koumas is focused on his job and hopes to make his way back into the Premiership side's lineup.

"I'm exactly the same - obviously you're going to be frustrated, but I will keep going until I'm in the team and playing well.



"I only joined five months ago so I feel I've got a lot to prove to be honest. Fans have seen nothing of me yet and it's frustrating for me on my part.



"Wigan brought me for a lot of money and it's frustrating that I can't show what I can do.



"I don't feel like I've had loads of chances. But I can't complain if the team has been winning."
