Paris Saint-Germain eyeing big-money move for Kevin de Bruyne?

24 October 2017 - 19:21

French giants Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to make a bumper contract offer to Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, should he decide to leave the club.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • The 25-year-old has had a strong start to his season with the Citizens, and this has earned him plaudits from manager Pep Guardiola and pundits across Europe.

De Bruyne's representative recently revealed that talks are underway over a fresh deal at the Etihad stadium with his client looking to potentially quadruple his current salary of £115,000-a-week.

According to Goal.com, Les Parisiens have already made contact with the player's agent, and they are prepared to meet De Bruyne's staggering wage demands if he is to push for an exit from City.

However, the report adds that the midfielder is content with his position under manager Guardiola after having become a key player at the centre of the park.

In response to his client's comments, De Bruyne insisted that he is no hurry to sign a new deal as he has no reason to push for a fresh challenge elsewhere.
