Arsenal eye move for Jose Arnaiz

30 October 2017 - 07:01

Arsenal are weighing up a January transfer move for Barcelona youngster Jose Arnaiz. The winger has made his first appearance for the Catalan club's first-team already.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • The Spanish youngster, who has only recently made the move to Barcelona from Valladolid, is currently out of favour with the Nou Camp club and could be sold in January for a fee of just 15 million euros. Jose Arnaiz, who played two full seasons for Real Valladolid's first team, made his first team debut just last week for Barca and scored in a 3-0 victory against Murcia.

His performances have caught the eye of Arsenal's scouts, who are seeking a potential replacement for Alexis Sanchez, with the Chile international rumoured to still be seeking a move away from the Emirates in the January transfer window.

The 5 foot 7 winger Arnaiz has instructed his agent to help him find a club who will offer regular first-team football.

Numerous teams from across Europe have been monitoring Arnaiz's progress with a view to a January transfer window move.
