Man Utd defender Rio Ferdinand believes that Lyon will be a tough prospect in tonight's Champions League match. Ferdinand is confident Man Utd can get a clean sheet.
âWe expect a tough game and theyâve got this far in the competition for a reason: theyâre a very good side. The managerâs drilled us and weâre well informed about Lyon. Weâve seen bits on the television and we played them a couple of years ago.
âIf we can score an away goal then weâre halfway there, as long as we donât concede more than one or two ourselves. But our aim is to keep a clean sheet â that will really make life easier in the return leg.
âLast season we reached the semi final and were knocked out by the eventual winners. This time we want to go one or two better than that.
âBut there are some big teams standing in our way â the first oneâs Lyon. Itâs going to be difficult but I think we have the players to achieve things in Europe this season.â
