Benik Afobe eyes permanent Wolves move

24 March 2018 - 07:31

Bournemouth striker Benik Afobe has revealed that he hopes to make a permanent move to Wolves at the end of the season having helped the Molineux side to top of the league in the Championship with an impressive array of performances during a loan spell at the club.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • Wolves look set for a return to the Premier League and Afobe has helped the cause, with numerous goals and impressive displays for his temporary club.

It is understood that Wolves manager Nuno is considering a permanent deal for the Bournemouth striker but is disappointed with the reported £15 million asking price from the Cherries for Afobe.

Afobe on the other hand has told reporters that he is open to a longer stay with Wolves: “We’ve still got eight games to go, those kind of calls (about the future) will be between Bournemouth, Wolves and my agent.

“I’ll have to sit down with my family but my dream has always been to play for Wolves in the Premier League, so, hopefully, that can happen.”
