Modric tempting Arsenal?

26 July 2007 - 15:39

Luka Modric is being considered as an addition to Arsenal's midfield and the second signing from Dinamo Zagreb this summer. Eduardo Da Silva already had completed his move to Arsenal, but Wenger had announced that he "knew about" Modric and was tempted to enquire about the talented Croat.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Modric scored 2 goals on the opening day of the season against Sibenik, whilst another talented young Croatian Vukojevic scored another. Should Arsenal sign Modric this could be a useful replacement for the departing Fredrik Ljungberg. The fee suggested today is in the region of 10m EUR but Torino and Milan are still watching Modric's plans.
