Arsenal will reportedly lodge an attempt to sign Benfica winger Andrija Zivkovic at the end of the campaign.
The 21-year-old has been closely watched by Gunners scouts since his time with Partizan Belgrade and the club are now said to be pondering over a possible approach.
According to Sport Witness, the north London outfit will launch a bid for the midfielder in the summer, although his representative is unsure whether the club would be willing to match the £53m release clause in his client's contract.
Zivkovic, who is currently the younger ever player to have represented Serbia, joined Benfica from Partizan in the summer of 2016. He was initially a winger by trade but has managed to develop his skills in a central midfield role under the tutelage of Rui Vitoria.
Arsenal are expected to announce their new manager before this summer's World Cup in Russia and recent reports have suggested that Arsene Wenger's successor could be handed with a £200m transfer kitty.
