Manchester United lining up record move for Neymar?

Manchester United could reportedly enter into a transfer tussle with Real Madrid as they seek to lure Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season.

  • Chelsea urged to sign Man City star on free transfer
  • Chelsea squad want Xabi Alonso as manager
  • The Brazil international only joined Les Parisiens from Barcelona in a world-record £200m last summer but he could still be seeking a fresh challenge next season.

According to The Mirror, the Brazilian has already informed his teammates of his desire to leave Parc des Princes and United are now prepared to rival Real Madrid for his signature.

It is added that Jose Mourinho's side could be willing to pay a world-record £200m sum for the potential transfer whilst also matching the attacker's £30m-a-year wages.

Neymar has performed impressively for Paris Saint-Germain this term with 28 goals in 30 appearances but unfortunately, his season was curtailed in February after sustaining a broken metatarsal.

He is, however, expected to report for national team duty ahead of the World Cup and his showing could be key to Brazil's success at the global tournament in Russia.
