A report from France indicates that Nabil Fekir is close to completing a transfer move from Lyon to Liverpool. The Anfield club are set to pay around 55 million euros to secure the French attacker in a mega money transfer.
French TV station Canal+ has claimed that a deal is all but complete, indicating that a transfer is "99 percent done".
Fekir himself, speaking after the game against Nice, told reporters told France Football: "Is this my farewell? Frankly, I don't know. I spent an exceptional season here with players, fans and the staff. We ended up in beauty.
"You have to pass a course, it is true. I think I gave everything to Lyon. Now it is time to look into the future."
Liverpool are set to beat Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal and Napoli to the signing of Fekir and it is expected that a deal will be announced for the player immediately after the conclusion of the Champions League final against Real Madrid.
