AC Milan attacker Suso has revealed his desire to return to Liverpool at some stage of his career. The Spaniard previously spent four years with the Reds between 2011 and 2015 before pursuing a switch to the Rossoneri.
Over the past six months, Suso has regularly been linked with a move to Liverpool and the winger is now open to the idea of rejoining the Merseyside club.
"Premier League football is different, I would call it special: I would like to play for Liverpool again someday. I grew up there and it is a big club. I'm very happy at Milan," he told the The Guardian.Â
Suso has contributed 13 goals for the Rossoneri this term in comparison to his 16 from the previous campaign and this has attracted plenty of transfer interest owing to his relatively affordable release clause of £35m.
Liverpool are yet to find a suitable replacement for Philippe Coutinho, who left the club for Barcelona in January and Suso could yet emerge as the option to fill the void.
