Berger wants Villa deal

Aston Villa midfielder Patrik Berger has called on the club to let him know whether they intend to keep him on for next season. The 34 year old has been linked with a move to a host of rival Premiership clubs.

"I am a free agent so outside England I can negotiate with anybody at any time," he told Sport.



"But we will see what happens. I have not yet spoken officially with Slavia.



"I do not know yet what will happen in the summer, but I want to have my future resolved as soon as possible.



"I would not like to stay here any longer."
