Lyon attacker Nabil Fekir is still interested in a move to Liverpool, according to Mirror Football.
The France international has been linked to Anfield all summer and was close to completing a move in June before it fell through.
Manchester United have also been linked with a move for the midfielder as Mourinho looks to bolster his midfield.
To put the move in doubt, Olympique Lyon's president Jean Michel Aulas recently said that the player will not be leaving the French club.
The move looks set to be revived because the player has reportedly reached an agreement with Aulas to reopen talks with the 2018 Champions League finalists.
Fekir is currently with the French squad who will face Croatia in the final in Moscow on Sunday. He has already met with the Lyon president twice during the ongoing Russia World Cup.
With all that has happened regarding the transfer of Fekir, this might just be one of those transfer stories that drag for the duration of the transfer season.
