Liverpool have completed the signing of goalkeeper Alisson Becker from AS Roma for a reported fee of around £67m.
The Brazilian has now become the world's most-expensive shot-stopper surpassing the £34.7m fee paid by Manchester City to sign Ederson from Benfica last summer.
"In terms of my life and my career, it's a huge step for me being part of this club and this family. You can be certain that I'll give my all," Alisson told the club's official website.
With the arrival of Alisson, the Reds have spent nearly £170m on four recruits in the ongoing transfer window and this may sum up their business for the summer.
Lyon's Nabil Fekir has been associated with a potential move to Anfield in recent weeks but the huge outlay for the services of Alisson could restrict them from reviving their interest in the Frenchman.
The concerns over Fekir's injury record witnessed the Reds turn down a £52m deal last month and his valuation may be upped, should the club seek to re-enter negotiations with Les Gones.
