Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly finalised a deal worth £5m to acquire the services of midfielder Joao Moutinho from AS Monaco.

  • Chelsea midfielder looking forward to London derby vs Spurs
  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • The newly-promoted Premier League outfit have already made seven signings in the ongoing transfer window and they appear on course to make their eighth after agreeing on a £5m fee for the Euro 2016 winner.

The 31-year-old is Portugal's third most-capped player with 113 appearances to his name and he featured on three occasions for the nation at the World Cup where they were ousted at the round of 16 stage.

Wolves already have a large contingent of Portuguese players at the helm owing to their close association with super-agent Jorge Mendes and the 52-year-old is said to have once more played his part in luring Moutinho to the club.

The west Midlands outfit are also interested in a winter deal for another Portuguese striker in the form of Andre Silva but AC Milan have yet to make a decision over his future.
