Hughes wants Mccarthy deal

Blackburn boss Mark Hughes has revealed he would like to offer a deal to Benni McCarthy that would see the South African striker stay put at Rovers for the rest of his career.

Hughes said: "I feel he wants to stay. He's under contract but we want to make Blackburn Benni's club.



"It could be the last big contract of his career. But we'd love for him to stay here for a long time.



"Technically, he's as good as there is."
