Sunderland want Kuffour

23 August 2007 - 16:16

Sunderland are tying up a contract for Ghanaian defender Samuel Kuffour. The player is currently looking for a new club after being released from his Roma contract and playing last season on loan at Livorno.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • Roy Keane is believed to want to add experience to his defence after last weekend's 3-0 defeat to Wigan.

Kuffour has been linked with a move to England before, during his time at German side Bayern Munich. Aston Villa, Charlton and Birmingham are all also weighing up a move for Kuffour.
