Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has said that he would prefer a return to the Serie A during the latter stage of his professional career.
The Italy international joined the Blues from Napoli during the summer transfer window after they paid up a fee of around £53m for his services.
He has since cemented the holding midfield role with the west London giants but in a recent interview, he has admitted that a return to the Serie A could be a possibility in the future.
"There were various things behind my departure from Napoli," Jorginho is quoted by Calciomercato. "The will of just one party is not enough. Serie A will always be one of the best leagues in the world. I hope to go back one day."
Jorginho had a rather frustrating debut against Manchester City in the Community Shield where he was outclassed by a young Phil Foden but he has since returned to his old self to provide a calming influence in the centre of the park.
